This is by far the worst job I've ever but I'm good my job. I recently started working a nursing home that is on a limited license with the state. Did my two interviews and toured the facility. Staff were very welcoming. Do all my paperwork and drug testing. The onboarding was a little rocky as no one answered their emails. I wish I knew this would be indication of what I was walking into. I arrive my first day, no one was prepared for my arrival. I start, the person training me quits my third day. My new boss rush's to get the star employee that left. The star employee returns and my boss adds someone from another department as well. This individual does absolutely nothing and this health care mind you. They are none to hide and known across the building to do absolutely no work. We all start working together and I'm automatically isolated from their clique. Once this employee and I start working together, we don't get along. My entire treatment is based on this beloved employee who has it in with administration. Show up to work in basketball shorts. This is a nursing home not home. They allowed it. Im left to do all the work, while they socialize and constantly leave me to juggle multiple units solo. My former boss then quits and I found out the day off. We're now under a different department and this director is reason my boss quits. This director has let our department fall to waste side. And these residents pay a high price to live there. This job has no leadership at all. While all the lower workers fix all their mistakes. I'm being blamed for things that's above my pay grade. Also this lazy employee basically quit for a week and they allowed this employee to return. Like nothing no call no show. While I'm being held to high standard. I'm currently looking for a new job. Never again.
