As a so-called “frequently sick” person, I definitely feel the heat even when I cover my own shift. What's worse is when you cover it on an already-short crew so that people can still flame you even if you've worked half the shift but it got busy after you've left. What's EVEN WORSE is if you're part of management, and you have to keep up appearances. Edit: I agree on all your comments.
