Potential Employer just slighted/insulted me because I asked for help with a ‘task’ they gave me. What to do?

Important to note for this that I am autistic. Level 1 ASD. As someone on the spectrum when I'm given instructions, I do my best to follow them exactly. Especially in this case when its for a potential employer deciding if they want to hire me or not. Also this job posting was for a part-time remote IT job where I'd be on call and get dispatched to customers. No real schedule just on call. Had a quick phone interview yesterday with this guy (the owner). Went great. Then he gives me a task for after the call. He tells me to write down the instructions and follow them closely. The instructions were to use calendar software to create my 'ideal schedule' and then use the software's function to turn it into an image and send him that image.

He specifically said both to use the calendar software and to use its export to image function.

I didn't find much for calendar software that didn't require payment. I figured out a way to do the schedule itself with google calendar but I checked the whole site and couldn't find a way to export it to an image.

So I email him to ask if he has an suggestions on what I should use.

His response seemed very insulting but I need someone else to confirm it was meant as a dig at me or if I'm just overreacting.

His response was: “You can just take a screenshot and crop it. Do you have experience with Windows?”

Like I'm a 34 year old whose been using Windows my entire life. I have 5 years of experience running an IT department that used Microsoft products on my resume that included using Windows Server. We literally talked on the phone about how I installed Microsoft Lync into my company's environment back in 2011. It should be fucking obvious I have Windows experience. So to me, I can't take that any way other than as an insult. As if he was saying “you're telling me you don't know how to take a screenshot? Have you ever even used a computer???”

Like motherfucker, I specifically thought of taking a screenshot but I was going by your instructions that said to use the software's function to create the image. Also why the fuck does it have to use calendar software? I can't just tell you my ideal schedule in words…or use a spreadsheet?

Anyways am I right to be royally pissed off at this guy? Should I send him an email telling him I'm autistic and grill him for insulting me when I was just trying to follow his stupid ass instructions that made no sense?? Also why the fuck does he want my ideal schedule when I'm on call with no schedule…
