I posted a while back about how I had just started a new job with the promise of being fully remote. They then yanked the rug out from under me and demanded I be in office full time. I quit that job and went back to my old job and things have been fantastic!
However, when I got my final paycheck from the short term job, it seemed smaller than I anticipated. So I asked for my pay stub. That was June 21. I still hadn’t received it so today, July 17, I emailed them again asking for it. I got it and reviewed it. It has 64 hours worked for the pay period. I worked 70 and took 10 hours of unpaid time.
They shorted me 6 hours, which is $168. I emailed them back stating I know I worked 70 hours and asking where the 64 came from. I have a feeling they’re really gonna fight me on this.
Any tips? I’m in MN USA.
