What amazes me is people will defend or fight for a system that doesn’t care about them

I know we don’t really have a choice since the system is all we have at least on a legal level. But what I mean is people have excuses for the negative aspects of work culture and capitalism. And people will basically just be complacent in the corruption of the system.
