Sneaky Shift Change

My partner works on a behavioral health unit at a small hospital. He works three 12s overnight. He often takes extra shifts because it’s overtime and we could use the money. He just accepted a few extra Sundays in a row. The shift started out being 11pm-7pm. After he accepted them, all of a sudden they were changed to 7p-7am. The only reason my partner took them is because they are a shorter shift and I have to work during the day the next day so he won’t be as tired. He and I both agreed that we need the money, but I don’t appreciate him being lied to essentially to get someone to cover the shift.
