I went on short term disability mid March of this year. Luckily, I'm still on disability. My manager was aware before I took leave of my mental and physical illness (the cause of my disability leave). I work(ed) in a call center. So it's been 4 months now and I haven't heard a word from anyone. Coworkers don't ask about me, my manager hasn't reached out to me asking how I'm doing. I don't plan on going back to work there. Just going to use the rest of my time and find somewhere else to work. For a team that touted how we were like family and everyone loves each other I feel like I don't matter as much because my numbers suffered while I was working due to said disability. Had to pull accommodations out like teeth and it still wasn't what I needed. Don't even know where I'm going with this. Just bitter. Work sucks. Disability sucks.
