Hi guys and gals,
In the last several months I've been on a downward trajectory at work. I'm a nurse and they hired a new director that has seem to have taken a dislike to me. In the three plus years before him I've never even had an issue. Since he started I've been written up four times for various instances, starting with a verbal, then a 1, 3 and 5 day suspension.
All of the instances should have been education since they were all minor and pointless. He's choosing to escalate it. One of the psws overheard him talking about me to a other manager and he said, “don't worry about NAME. I'll take care of him.” Since he's started he's been toxic to all the nurses I work with, several have been “ambush disciplined “, hes invited them into his office to talk and then disciplined them with no union rep present. Several have broke down crying.
For background, hes East Indian and he only disciplines black, white or Asian nurses. He protects his race. This has been proven since he's fired three black nurses so far. I don't want to get too much more into it. It's stressful, I've had a month off due to mental health issues already.
My question is this, in my resignation letter im going to keep it simple and short. Is it worth putting him on blast for all the things he's done and email the ceo, he and some other bosses? Or even the whole organization?
Some of the things the other nurses have told me were in confidence and he will likely know where the info came from. My whole problem with resigning at this time is I don't have any savings right now due to debts and cost of living. But the mental stress is too much.
Thanks and I'll try and answer any questions you have.
