The thing that's really confusing is society keeps changing repeatedly, and makes no sense anymore. First, employers supported remote work. Then, everyone MUST return to the office or be fired. People return to the office and they get laid off anyway due to challenging economic conditions, and companies announce record profits. Now, we're reasonably certain next year will have even more layoffs and no plan whatsoever of what we're going to do if we get laid off… Pray or something I guess?
