Breaks should be paid.

It makes no sense to me that they're not. I've had so many jobs where I've had to stay on site, and be available to jump in during my break anyway. Like, if it were up to me, I wouldn't be eating a refrigerated lunch in a dingy backroom. Not to mention the jobs where lunchbreaks are scheduled to a certain time and you end up having to work through a part of your break because this or that pops up, making your lunch break shorter than legally permissable.
