Hey antiwork, basically I work at a bar with a very small team, it's just me, a coworker, our manager, and the owner (owner never shows up). Needless to say they're severely understaffed but also don't really treat their employees well. I took vacation until next week and in the meantime found something else.
Now, I need to quit today as the new thing is already lined up for the days after I'm back from vacation and tomorrow my manager will make the shifts schedule for that week, thus I need to quit before he makes the schedule.
Thing is I feel bad for quitting due to them needing me so much and today is also my manager's birthday I feel like he wouldn't like to receive these news on his bday. On the other hand I need to look after my interests. What do I do, I really don't want to go back there, fed up of miss treat.
