See the original post in my history I guess. Wanted to let folks know I found the list. Two years later FAILURES Disorganization – Fails/refuses to commit manpower to organization and maintenance of organization structures. Unpredictability – Temper tantrums. Yelling. Cursing. Throwing things. Ignorance – Refuses to educate self regarding tasks vital to the operation of the business. Gleefully refuses offers from staff who are willing to provide education. Poor Time Management – Constantly late or behind schedule. Interruptions- Constant interruption of staffs’ assigned tasks, disrupting staff focus, then complaining about errors or failure to meet deadlines. Absenteeism – Seldom spends time in the office and seldom informs staff where he is going and when he might return. Frequently MIA. Unable to maintain a set work schedule. Difficult to reach when project details are in question. Fails to comprehend that many questions require in-person inspection of the project in question.…

FAILURES

Disorganization – Fails/refuses to commit manpower to organization and maintenance of organization structures.

Unpredictability – Temper tantrums. Yelling. Cursing. Throwing things.

Ignorance – Refuses to educate self regarding tasks vital to the operation of the business. Gleefully refuses offers from staff who are willing to provide education.

Poor Time Management – Constantly late or behind schedule.

Absenteeism – Seldom spends time in the office and seldom informs staff where he is going and when he might return. Frequently MIA. Unable to maintain a set work schedule. Difficult to reach when project details are in question. Fails to comprehend that many questions require in-person inspection of the project in question.

Customer Neglect – Does not follow up with customers in a timely manner, putting the burden on staff of dealing with frustrated customers. Fails to complete customer tasks in a timely manner and frequently informs customers that FIW staff are to blame.

Lack of Support – Does not support management staff in conflicts with other workers or with customers.

Lip Service with no follow up – Promises changes but never follows up. Uses lack of time as an excuse. Disregards any new ideas that are not his own.

Dishonesty – Lying to staff, customers, vendors, and his own family. Also frequently instructs staff to do the same on his behalf.

Excessive Vacationing – Takes no less than 6 weeks of vacation every year while offering little or no paid vacation to most staffers.

Excessive delegation to the point of dereliction of responsibilities.

Excessive reassigning of staff to personal tasks.

Disrespect – Speaks poorly of staff to customers, vendors, and other staff.

No discipline – Complains excessively about unacceptable staff behavior but takes no action to discipline individuals responsible, even when disciplinary actions are requested by supervisors.

Micromanaging (despite ignorance) – Interferes with staff tasks in order to have tasks accomplished in the manner which he has proscribed, regardless of the efficiency of his instructions. Feels qualified to assign timeframes for tasks with which he is unfamiliar. This results in constant misjudging volume of assigned workloads.

Pressure – Demands staff support his decisions in all things. Fails to comprehend that staff feels intimidated and unable to speak freely.

Treats Office staff like personal assistants. Expects office staff to assist his family members in their personal matters.
