I left the job with the intention of having a couple days off in between jobs, but when I asked for a start time on my start day I was told there had been delays due to inspections and such, and the job was not going to be starting on the date they gave me. I began looking for other work to either fill the interim or just take the place of the aforementioned job offer when that happened, but have been unsuccessful thus far. They have given me other tentative start dates since, but they have all been delayed further.
