I work in the treasury department at a bank. I deal with all types of business clients, from large corporations to mom and pop shops. These large corporations that y’all work for, who require years of experience and a college degree for their payroll departments, are morons. I am constantly processing reversals that the payroll person has mistakenly paid (which happens more than just a one time deal), fixing transactions for ACHs taken out of the wrong accounts, on the phone with them for 15 or more minutes while they try to figure out how to reset their online banking passwords. Don’t even get me started on how terribly inept the CEOs are. If you’ve ever had a problem with your paycheck, know that it’s because the payroll associates are brainless.
