HR emailed me about offer confidentiality

I got an email today from my HR rep saying that it has come to her attention that offer details have been shared with other employees and reminding me that offer details are confidential and should not be shared. I received this in writing through email and have already screenshotted it. I am in a specialized program in the company located in NJ where after two years of employment we get a new offer and promotion. I believe that I am the only one in my program to receive this email, as I checked with someone who has accepted their new offer and someone who is still waiting for their new offer and neither of them also received this email. I am in a specialized program in the company located in NJ where after two years of employment we get a new offer and promotion. I believe that I am the only one in my program to receive this email, as I checked with someone who has accepted their new offer and someone who is still waiting for their new offer and neither of them also received this email.

On one hand I know this is illegal, I could report to the NLRB.

On the other hand I do not want negative repercussions as a result of reporting. If I report then they might place a microscope on me to find a reason to fire me. Even if it is illegal to fire me if i report them, I do not doubt they would find a way to put me on a PIP or do something else shady.

Would it be worthwhile to respond to this email and how should I go about it?

What would you do? I am in my early 20s at a large billion dollar company and enjoy my job. I am paid a great salary and don’t want to lose it, and it will be difficult to find another job in my industry if I get fired.

There were no threats in the email, just a reminder about confidentiality of offers. I did share my new offer details to some people in my specialized program (4-5 people) but never shared my offer letter.

Please advise, I feel sick to my stomach!
