Luckily, I only work part time. But even when I worked full time, I noticed the work force just seems to be 1 big popularity contest and at “managers discretion” who gets the promotions etc. I'm someone that doesn't care to nor follows social norms, so found it strange it didn't go to the most hard working employees. Now I'm older and wiser I'm glad I'm unable to work full time. The fakeness in the work place is too overwhelming.
