Quiet exploitation

Quiet quitting seems to be the latest buzz word to guilt workers into doing more work for free. Why should workers do more than they are obliged and paid to do? Can we please flip this around and coin the term ‘quiet exploitation’ for companies that don’t choose to hand out cash to their workers for doing what they’re contractually obliged to do? Why do these things only ever seem to apply one way…
