Put in my notice.

I have been at this job for ten months, and by all metrics vastly over performing- months ahead of deadlines, taking on extra responsibilities. A few weeks in my manager highlighted an open position above mine that I didn't have the exact requirements for – but I have a master's degree in a related field.and a LOT of experience there – but she said she'd train me. After months of ticking all the boxes I come to find out my manager has offered the job to someone from another department who also doesn't have the required licenses, and who in addition has less education and experience than I do.

Then the boss goes on a 3 week vacation and I'm covering ALL THREE positions (mine, hers, and the vacant job) while she's gone. At half of what the open position would be paid and a third of what she makes.

While she's gone she evidently told another manger to 'keep an eye' on me. Which consists of bombarding me with 'where are you' texts when I work from home.

Then yesterday the other manager emailed me to ask how to set up database access to the db I use daily for a known outsourcing company (I am the only person on site who uses this db). Effectively signaling a third party is about to get a contract to outsource my job.

My resignation letter was emailed to my boss, that other manager, and HR 30 minutes later. My manager will find the hard copy on her desk when she's back on Monday.

Oh, and that less qualified other candidate who would have made twice as much as me and I would have had to train? Just heard she ended up choosing a different job out of state. Ha ha.

$24 an hour ain't worth this horror.
