I went in for an interview at Jack in the box even though I didn't really want to work there again because this company has screwed me over every time I've worked there, but Im desperate for work and don't want to be homeless again. I talked to the manager for about 15 min about my experience and how I was perfect for the job, he took a picture of my ID and social and told me to fill out the application so that he could start the onboarding process. I even asked just to confirm before I left, “Do I have the job?” He replied “Yes” and reiterated that I need to fill out the application and wait for the onboarding email. Well I did and no onboarding email. I call and ask and now he's saying I dont have the job and they can't hire anyone because it's too slow. What the hell do I do now?
