So I’ve got a job offer on the table which would comes out to a $10 raise per hour. I’m excited but it’s a little bit of a dangerous job compared to where I’m at now.
At my current job, 2 people have quit this week which I know sounds like a red flag, but it speaks more to drama within their particular shift than it does of the workplace as a whole. Nevertheless, I’d assume HR wouldn’t want to lose 3 people in the same week.
I’m going to talk to HR tomorrow to hopefully use the leverage I have to get more money. I thoroughly enjoy my job but I have to go where the money is at for myself and my kids. Any tips on using this situation to my advantage?
