A new manager took over literally today, and he called me and told my position is no longer going to be remote and I either need to move from Los Angeles to Atlanta or I'm being canned. Absolutely brutal day 1 move on his part. I'm staying on to transfer projects and getting a small severance package but the way rent is in LA right now…. It's almost comical timing. And there's no way I'll be able to find this salary in this industry, which is the bare minimum I need to survive. But at least I'll have a summer vacation?
