It's been a real treat being around for the last six and a half years.
This has been, by far, the least awful way to afford food and shelter I've experienced thus far.
I am sorry to have not had the privilege of working with all of you, and overwhelmingly grateful for the time I did get to spend with some of you, albeit far too brief and fleeting.
My hope for each and everyone of you is that this summer ushers in a season of discovery.
Discoveries about your undeniable and intrinsic value as a human person.
A revelation that what you do to afford necessities is perhaps the least important thing about you.
Who you are, not what you do, is why you are precious, important, and loved.

I was being paid $83,500.
I'm going to a role that will pay me $100,000.
P.P.P.P.S. Unionization is also federally protected, and is available to “white collar” jobs just as much as “blue collar” ones (a distinction made by the ruling class to further divide the workers among one another).
It's not hypocritical to critique capitalism while participating in it.
