I live in America.
and folks on this sub use the term slave a lot. Why?
it feels regressive and inconsiderate at the very least to use the term “slave” in any way. But that's just my two cents, and barely on topic. But I really feel like all of us in this sub need to stop referring to workers as slaves.
I think we can all agree that most of us here are quite far removed from the horrors Black folks endured during the American Slavery era.
Of course this is just an Americans perspective. Not really a comment on the rest of the worlds workforce, since I only know what I read about other countries.
