r/Antiwork : r/Wallstreetbets relationship

Alright, I know the title is catchy but here is what I think Wallstreetbets consists of very few great traders, and the rest are very bad traders and lurkers. Most of them with small capital that can ranger from few hudreds to few millions. It's our right to be part of the financial system and inverse or trade in equities, etc. But when we realize that the biggest market maker is also the biggest hedge fund manager, we know it is nonsense. Alright,

I know the title is catchy but here is what I think

Wallstreetbets consists of very few great traders, and the rest are very bad traders and lurkers.
Most of them with small capital that can ranger from few hudreds to few millions.

It's our right to be part of the financial system and inverse or trade in equities, etc. But when we realize that the biggest market maker is also the biggest hedge fund manager, we know it is nonsense.

I feel that subs like that are propagating the same ideas of self made billionaire and that working hard and smart investments would get you anywhere. Ideas that are harmful to our collective mind.

While I enjoyed the GameStop saga, I also realized that little success was more harmful than beneficial. Retail investors didn't serve the real purpose it should have served which is that we need some fuckin regulations.. Wallstreet, banks, etc

I think it's very connected, the only reason we haven't seen a pay raise since Reagan is not because of one toxic small business employer/owner (which does exist) its because of the oligarchy of financial institutions reporting to an oligarchy of wealth hoarders, who control our legislations by enormous amounts of money that are just small percentage of what they have and what they look to gain.

The solution of our problem starts when we understand that. And when we did better financially, we made huge progress socially too.

Bottomline is, unions, elections, demonstrations, lobbying, posting, and organizing may work but dismantling the finincial corruption is a necessity for any progress to stay.

God bless America.. God protects the troops
End work. If you can print money, why tax us?
