So I work at a ridiculously badly managed job. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if it wasn’t directly tied to people’s lives.
Well anyway, today I got word that one of the Employees got reprimanded for refusing to pick up an extra shift and “help” the team.
I put help in quotes because We’ve been short staffed for going on three years now and only barely afloat because people volunteer to do overtime religiously. Upper management has done very little, if anything, to correct this issue.
He was called selfish for choosing a day off i and not sacrificing his given time off. Unprofessional, even. Why management isn’t “selfish” for refusing to do the same…the world may never know
These jobs give no fucks
