A tale of two job opportunities

I wanted to share the ridiculousness of the job market rn. Job 1 advertised as 20 hours a week, show up to the in person interview and it's actually one day a week, ROTATING, and every 6th weekend, and no more than 40 hours a month. I'm not sure they can do math. Also, who the hell can do that kind of schedule and then have another job. Sure, let me work Monday one week, Tuesday the next week, Wednesday…. seriously. Job 2 – got an offer “letter” via email, just needed to respond IMMEDIATELY to a few questions to have the formal offer letter sent over. It's been a week. Crickets. Yes, it's a very large and well known company, and it isn't a scam pretending to be them. Also wtf is up with so many places I interview being cool with management openly flirting with each other… during…
