I’m not exactly surprised. It’s a start up company and they were making the DUMBEST decisions. There were so many moments I was shocked at the financial decisions they made, it felt like so much of their decisions was based on ego. The writing was on the walls.
But I thought I’d be let go after the holidays. To be let go a week after my anniversary is a shock. And I’m super bummed.
I don’t really know where to go from here. I’ve never been laid off before and I have about 2 months saved for an emergency fund. My next job will be better but it’s cold out there.
