A year on the job and thinkin about going back on the market.

A year ago, I began working for a company that is contracted out by a big-name company. I turned down another position due to the talent acquisition boasting unlimited overtime, a pay raise after training, and performance evaluations related to compensation. After training, I received less of a raise than discussed. The group I trained with brought the question up in our group chat and everyone agreed that they were promised more than they were given. The difference wasn't much, so I didnt make a fuss about it, but thought I would approach the situation once I learned more and built some value in myself as an employee. The employees who shook the next received the proper raise.

Fast forward months down the line, I have been cross trained in a few other specialty departments, and have results as a top producing individual. I reached out to HR and was told I wasn't doing enough to request more compensation. This disturbed me as I knew a handful of other coworkers who received the raise and stayed in their initial position.

The unlimited OT was non-existent, and the department I was now in had no problem with giving more responsibilities for pats on the back.

6 months into the new position I reached out to HR and was told that no performance evaluations have been completed on me, therefore I did not qualify for compensation re-evaluation. I reached out to my initial supervisor and requested to go back to my initial position, as there were less responsibilities and I would be at the same(or less) pay rate as other agents in my position.

HR made a fuss about me constantly bringing up pay and motioned to let me go. My then current supervisor, and my previous one argued to keep me, so I moved back to my initial position. In the company I have also taken leadership courses and graduated their programs. I just hit a year at the job and was given a certificate for all my hard work…no word on performance evaluation.

I initially took the job due to it being remote and the hours being good for school and my 2nd job, but since the increase in duties and HR reminding me I am not worth the same pay as others i started with, I found myself less and less motivated.

I'm looking for a new job while I figure out what to do, but any insight or previous experiences would go a long way.

TLDR: Took a position that advertised pay raises, unlimited OT, and room for upward movement. Every position offered has been for the same or less pay. I'm a year in, and the company is showing no accountability. Should I cut ties?
