Accepting New Position

I recently applied for a position. The salary was included in the job listing. I recently found out that it was listed as an “error” and they’re dropping the starting salary by $7. Should I take the position and negotiate the wage with HR? I am trying to think of supporting arguments as to why I should be compensated more based on the original salary listed. They will likely only offer me the starting rate and will tell me that’s all they will honor. ETA: that would have been the starting salary if the company I work for was not merging with another company. We are “aligning” with their standard, not the one in my area.
