Update on the above post. I am bit under the weather and on mobile so excuse any typos.

Essentially I provided paperwork with doctor supported evidence asking for less screen time, the ability to work in a quieter space and have movement breaks. I also told them my end goal was to be in another department bc I did not enjoy being on the phone and computer nonstop.

They told me to “apply” for open jobs. They told me to wear a visor to help with lights and use night mode and to approve breaks through my.boss. Her response to me as we attempted to create my schedule and I asked for more days vs longer shifts was extremely rude and my requests to have 5 minutes away from. The computer was “I don't take breaks. Why should you?” I was floored at her lack of respect towards my health.

She got so hostile (and this convo was being held inappropriately at our front desk where many people were walking by) i walked away and told her she needed to stop. I reported her to HR and I told them I want to be transferred and i will be applying to another role.

I also made an EEOC complaint and I intend to contact ADA as well. The eeoc intake isn't until October.

I am not going to tolerate her abusive language to me or her attitude towards me needing time off a screen and away from the screaming kids.
