So my dept manager just put in his 2 weeks a few days ago. I've been scheduled to meet with the higher ups tomorrow to discuss the roles and responsibilities my (soon to be) former manager handled day to day. I have a very strong gut feeling that I wil bel assigned some of his responsibilities but they aren't going to give me a raise for these added responsibilities. I recently received a pretty good pay bump and a title of senior designer a few months ago because competition was trying to poach me and (soon to be) former manager fought to keep me on board. I feel like they will use that as justification to add more responsibilities without the compensation to go with it.
Thoughts?
