Hey all,

I'm looking for some advice on a payroll situation. My employer just reached out to inform me that they were required by law to increase my pay to the California minimum-wage for salaried non-exempt employees and missed it by mistake. They're sending me an additional payroll for the difference and have adjusted my future payroll to be accurate. I realize that it's illegal for them to retaliate against a wage claim, but I also don't see a reason to go through the trouble if I don't stand to gain any monetary value beyond what they've already sent me since they caught the issue on their own and were honest about it.
