My husband is working internationally with a job based in Seattle. Without giving too many details away, he’s paid very low ($15/hr) and continuously asked to work more hours. Part of the job is content creation. The employer offers no benefits, such as pto, sick leave, or retirement. He’s considering leaving the company bc of the constant pressure to work more and more, with no benefits offered. If he leaves, can he take the content he’s created with him? I know this isn’t the place for legal advice, but I’m just curious if that’s something he could do.
Important side note, he has been considering creating his own company in the field as he has the educational background to succeed.
