I posted a while ago about how I requested off a few Sunday PTO. It’s approved but management gave me shit about it. (It’s cause I work ft and go to school so just need the day before my last 7 exams to study/reat)
I put in for 3 move in December and that’s all and the semesters over and I can go back to open availability. Again they’re on my case. The boss just emailed me I can’t not work on Sundays in December (I’m off 3 of 4) , that I need to take half days or switch with someone so I’ll be on Saturday which is my day off . Which is not what I’m doing as I explained to her last time. It’s my PTO I have a total of 7 Sundays off to study for my Monday exams; the reason doesn’t even matter it’s my day off.
I literally have over 100hrs of PTO I earned and want 7 days off, we have plenty of other people who work here to cover and Sunday is a slow day here.
Kinda ticked off rn. I really want to reply to her my 2 weeks or tell her “I can quit and then have all the Sundays I want off”. Cause this is getting ridiculous how they’re calling me out when it’s not every Sunday in a row.
I barely request off, tried to do things the right way by putting in PTO request weeks ahead and they have ample time to make a schedule, like I will get my Sunday off it could be through PTO, can be through me calling out “sick” day of, I could probably get away with showing on Sunday and not doing shit cause there’s no management on weekends to supervise us, or you know take all the free time I want by not working here anymore,
How to best handle/reply to this?
