I don't know whether to file a claim. So please let me know.
Basically three years ago I had a manager go ballistic on me. Repeatedly yelling at me in front of team mates. He told me to “just do my job” but never told me how I wasn't doing my job. It was a toxic workplace and I reached out to HR. I have a disability and part of that is intrusive suicidal thoughts. The manager found out I made more money than him even though I had 3 to 5 years more experience. So the way he treated me blew my disability out of control.
I also suspected that he shared my disability with other. I called the ethics line. HR came back and said they didn't find any evidence.
I had a manager who understood that my former manager had a personal vendetta against me. And she kept me protected. When she left, the new manager told me “he is gunning for you.” As the new manager came in he put himself in between the new manager as a “lead” that he had never actually been.
He makes current decisions in our team despite not having authority to. He didn't understand what my team did and repeatedly tried to break I apart. It was a horrible situation and I had suicidal thoughts return.
This last month I had a promotion denied for a total bs reason, which directly contradicted my experience. I know he plans staff requirements and needs for management.
Is this retaliation? Should I file with the govt?
