Im a specialised professional in my industry, have a management position and enjoy the job I currently have as much as one can enjoy their work.
Another company headhunted me, although I said I wasn’t too interested, promised me much better things if I just come in for an interview.
At the moment I’m having an extremely hard and busy time at work so taking time off was so difficult, but I still managed to do it, prepared myself for it and was waiting to leave the house. Less than 2 hrs before the interview their recruiter messaged me on linked in saying “ sorry can’t call I’m underground but company needs to cancel and reschedule. Do not attend”
That was it. Am I right to be annoyed? I think they might want to reschedule but I feel like that’s just a little rude. I’m in England if that helps to gauge the social aspect of politeness a little more.
Or am I too sensitive?
