After working at the same job for 6 years, I got my first raise, and it wasn’t what I’d thought it’d be…

So to begin, I’m a recent university graduate, and recently I’ve been looking for a new job that suits my degree. Ever since I was in high school, I was working at a drug store, as a retail clerk. Over 6 years, I worked my way up the ladder, as a postal worker, pharmaceutical technician, and now assistant manager.

Throughout this whole time, I’ve been making minimum wage for where I live, and as I was given the promotion to assistant manager, my boss told me that I’d eventually get a pay raise. About a month passed, and my manager called me into the office, and told me that I will be getting a $0.20 raise.

It may just be me, but I am now only making 20 cents above minimum wage, which I honestly feel like is more of an insult than anything to me. The main reasons I stayed are that I really like my coworkers, and the job is very close to where I live, so there is no commute. I’m obviously looking for better jobs that suit me better, however, I frankly feel really insulted that my manager would even give me 0.20 cents, as I might have even been happier without it. Any suggestions on what to do from here? Thank you in advance!
