Apparently someone in my workplace has made a complaint to HR that they saw me and my boss kissing at a bar. HR had my boss go to their office to talk about it and the end result is HR offering me a different position on a different shift. My boss said he completely denied and told them there was no way that ever happened.
The problems I'm having is that it never happened, not even in the slightest, it was a blatant lie by someone anonymous.
I don't even have a vehicle right now to go to a bar, and I haven't had a vehicle in almost a month now. I have also been diagnosed with a failing gallbladder and liver lesions about 5 weeks ago (surgery on the 11th), so I literally can't even drink. Why would I be at a bar?
HR never talked to me. Only my boss. I declined the offer to move shifts as I don't see it being very fair. Having no car right now I'm relying on my coworker to bring me to and from work. We work the same hours and same days, and they live about 15 mins from me. If I switched shifts, I wouldn't have a way to get to work. All the people on the other shift are older (50-70's, one lady is 81) and live in the same town as our workplace. Me and my coworker live 30-40 mins away, in a whole different state (Illinois/Kentucky).
I don't know what to do. HR never talked to me about it. I haven't been to a bar in over a month. I don't even have a way to get to a bar. I can't even drink due to medical issues. Wtf?
