This is my first time posting here and am looking for guidance.
So I work in an office at a large hospital system and am an hourly employee who works 8am – 5pm Monday through Thursday and then 8am – 3pm on Friday. I have a 30 minute lunch break each day.
I just started this job and I noticed that each week, my hours get adjusted to 40 when I actually worked slightly over 40 hours. Is this normal or am I missing something?
I've worked here for about 6 months and have been so pre-occupied with other work issues so I didn't realize that I've been losing a half hour each week of overtime pay. Appreciate any input you guys can provide!
