My boss is actually one of two bosses, they’re co-owners and semi-related. The main boss (we’ll call her Lisa) has said a lot of rude and inappropriate things to me. Maybe I’m taking them too personal. How would you guys react to some of these things if they were said to you/about you?
- “If something’s gonna go wrong it’s gonna happen to her” talking about me
- Screamed at me in my third week bc I handed her something wrong (in front of coworkers)
- In third week, told me, “I didn’t come here today to babysit you”
- Called me hard-headed.. one time told me she thought I was “on drugs” bc I got flustered and walked in the wrong direction
- Sorry to go on this long. Today, in my 5th week, as main boss lisa was leaving, she said “I think being around (my name) is raising my blood pressure” The other boss/coworker (we’ll call her Tracy) started laughing and looked at me and said “poor (my name), she’s so mistreated”
The other employee though looked ashamed and went silent
What the hell should I do?
P.S. it’s a small town and main boss lisa is close to my friends mom… so it’s awkward
I also need to save up for a car .. said friend is driving me to and from work. Help.
