Rant mainly: I was an editor for a feature film on a TV movie. Hundreds of hours of work, lost sleep, working on vacation, going above & beyond to make the final film perfect. Including filming Extra shots on my own time & money.
The premiere finally comes in, and a couple of producers & the director come in to say some special thanks to the crew before the movie starts.. no special thanks for me.
I worked just as hard as everyone on this project, it would have been nice to just get a special thank you for piecing the story together; for looking through every take, color correction, visual effects, free drone services.
