I made my move years ago to remove myself from the so called “rat race,” but my position now is not really relevant to the topic at hand.
What I want to say is that since being in this thread, over the last year or so, I have seen a change in posted topics. It used to be 100% people complaining(rightly) about their jobs, bosses and companies screwing them one way or another. But over the last 6 months or so, I feel I've seen a big uptick in posts like, “quit company x, and much better situation found at company y.” Or, they fired me, it backfired, and now I found something better.
Is this thread finally making a difference? Is it possible that 10 years or so from now, that a small percentage of bigger companies will not be squeezing everything out of their employees and actually treat them like human beings?
