Am I wrong for thinking my pay is incorrect for the hours I’ve worked?

So work pays me fortnightly. I started my job on April 27th so I just missed the cut off for being paid for the full two weeks after my join date (May 1st to the 13th.) I only made about £115 for three days, which is actually a fair amount of money, but this is why my pay doesn’t seem right this time around. I’m on minimum wage for my age, so around £6.90 an hour. I work eight hours a day, so after a fortnight that adds up to about £770 before tax. I got paid today and I only made around £450 after tax, but shouldn’t I have been paid four weeks wages? If I’m correct I should’ve been paid at least £7-800. I don’t know where to find my payslip either. I guess it’s back to asking my bosses again. It’s just frustrating because I was expecting…
