Amazon pay raise

Recently (Oct 1) amazon was so fucking gracious of providing us whores with a minimum $1 raise. Some sites got slightly more but from everything I’ve seen the minimum has been $1. My friend who works HR just told me how much they are making. Now I’m gonna break down the roles at an amazon FC real quick. First we have Tier 1 associates- these are the “grunts”. Regular warehouse associates that do most of the physical work. Paid hourly and on a step plan until 36 months (then capped). Tier 3) these are the process assistants, learning trainers, non inventory receiver, and a couple more. These associates are sometimes considered “leadership”. They do less physical work and more computer and data work. They get slightly more pay than a tier 1. Next we have Level 3. This is different than a tier 3. Level 3 are “technically” corporate. Recently (Oct 1) amazon was so fucking gracious of providing us whores with a minimum $1 raise. Some sites got slightly more but from everything I’ve seen the minimum has been $1.
They are also paid hourly like a tier 1. HR falls into this category. Now HR is considered corporate and does NOT follow a step plan for raises. No their raises are based on performance and surveys. When an associate stops at the HR desk for help the HR person has the option to send the associate an email for a survey. If the associate rates them highly they have a better chance of getting a raise.
Anyways, with this new pay raise they provided, HR was not included. There are now tier 1 associates at my building who make more than HR. My friend is the highest paid HR rep outside of “management” at $23/hr. Fuck might be less.
There as some HR reps only making $19/hr while associates are making $20/hr. It’s honestly a better option for some of these HR reps to take a demotion in order to make more money.
