I am also American and I have my own reasons why I’m still living the good ol American dream. Shitty pay, shitty healthcare, can’t afford retirement fund, constant dread of living this life forever. But, I have an amazing and supportive family, the love of my life, friends, 3 cats, and the slightest hope we can at least have what Europe has in the near future.
