I had my annual review last week and met or exceeded expectations in all categories. For context I work for a commercial facility management corporation. Mainly tracking exterior maintenance for big box stores and the subcontractors preforming the work. (US)
I expected the results I was given, I had been asking for a raise for the past 6 months. Our cost of insurance pretty much cancelled out my last raise, not to mention they have been adding duties to us, that were previously other people’s entire jobs. My argument was if they are expecting us to do our jobs plus everything else they have now added, we should be compensated for the heavier work load.
Well they have now offered me a 0% increase because I have voiced my opinion with HR.
Do I have any recourse in getting them to reconsider a pay increase?
