I have been trying to break out of the service industry for the better part of 2023. In July, my son was born and since then I have really put the pedal to the metal and applying for jobs that I have felt transition well to. I have worked my way up through the service industry and have been managing either a bar, restaurant or brewery for the better part of a decade and keep getting rejected after getting an interview. I've always felt charismatic and easy to talk to especially with strangers as I am great with guests and my regulars as well as my employees. I just for some reason can't get the second call back. I am honestly thinking about just tailor making a resume for any job I apply to in the future, no matter how big of a lie my experience may be, It can't yield worse results than being truthful with my current resume. Sorry for the grammatical errors, I am big bummed man.
