Hey gang! Based on the majority of posts recently, I thought it useful to create a handy guide when next ranting about a minor inconvenience at work.
Post checklist (in order):
I am a very high performer CHECK
My boss is a fucking idiot CHECK
I have been thrown into a very negative situation which in no way reflects my recent performance, attitude or status within the company CHECK
Someone did a thing in the meeting and I come out the good guy and my boss looks like a dick CHECK
My boss's boss made my boss look stupid without me having to do anything CHECK
I continue to work at the company which clearly thinks nothing of me CHECK
If your next post follows these points, in order, then you have a really original and credible work story to share with the world.
Let's keep this community interesting, insightful and dare I say it… entertaining. Please confine these unbelievably formulaic and dubious stories to private arguments with ourselves in the shower, where they are meant to be.
