So half of my job is leaving canned voicemails, I don't think I need to explain why I'm trying to circumvent having to do this task. But the brass tacks are that I can't install or modify my workstation as it's a corporate controlled unit. So I gotta go old school and use hardware only.
So far my design has a USB adapter to accept independent headphones and microphone as there is a disturbing lack of ports on my laptop. I intend on patching the recording in on the mic side with a 3.5mm splitter. I am still waiting on some of this equipment so I will update with results.
Again if there's anyone who can see a glaring holes in my plan or have already attempted this and found a better way I'm all ears.
Reading the same paragraph 350 times a day is psychological torture and having to speak for 7.5 hours straight is more physically demanding than one might assume. So I'm just trying to work smarter and not harder.
