I’m a year away from finishing my sonography program and going for board exams in California, but I just had a health scare and don’t know what to do if I can’t work once I’m taken off medi-cal in two years.
I’ve been contemplating moving to another country for the longest time because even if Capitalism and corruption is everywhere, I just want to be guaranteed healthcare and social programs if I ever do get sick.
Has anyone ever thought about moving out of the US? I was thinking of going back to school for a bachelors in something on top of my sonography registrations because they most likely won’t apply outside of the US. I want to get a head start on finding out where would be a safe place for a single woman to live as well as what’s a good degree or skill to have that can be applied when I move? I know becoming a citizen elsewhere will take time, but I’m at a point where living in the US seems like it’s not worth it when I can lose so much just from health issues.
